Wildlife and Authenticity
A quiet route along the sacred Tama Koshi River and rugged mountains extends to vast glacial lakes. An untouched island of ancient culture near Tibet, and one of the most accessible treks in the Himalayas.
Scorpyoga in the Himalayas
Together with Scorpyoga, we have developed a journey through the sacred valley of Buddhists that combines trekking and yoga, creating a space to deepen the connection with the three components of human nature — spirit, body, and mind.
Trek’s features
In this adventure you should expect
Outdoor Yoga with Yana Borodina
We will stop at places of power once inhabited by ancient mountain dwellers and yogis, complementing trekking with breathing practices and yoga, and deepening our understanding of the workings of the human energy centers.
Immersion in the Spiritual Culture of the Himalayas
While exploring the valley, we will visit a Buddhist monastery, an ancient yogi cave with panoramic views of the mountains, and interact with monks from an active Buddhist mountain school located at an altitude of 3,800 meters.
Glacial Lakes
The highlight of the adventure will be visiting the glacial lakes Tsho Rolpa and Dudhkunda, both formed by melting glaciers. Tsho Rolpa, one of the largest glacial lakes in Nepal, is situated at an altitude of 4,580 meters, while Dudhkund Lake is at an altitude of 4,700 meters.
Authentic Mountain Settlements
These traditional mountain settlements, characterized by stone houses, are home to hospitable locals who maintain a traditional way of life. The largest village in the valley, Beding, is renowned for its unique customs and culture.
Majestic High Mountain Scenery
Every day, the valley reveals new views of towering mountain peaks, including the famous Gaurishankar Peak (7,134 m). This is one of the most important destinations for mountain expeditions and trekking in Nepal.
